Disability Equality Scheme
Bucks is pleased to
publish its Disability Equality Scheme, ‘Developing Inclusive
Higher Education’, Action Plans and Annual Report*, these
documents can be downloaded from the links below. Our scheme
sets out our aspirations for the next phase in the development of
our provision for disabled students and employees.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ruth
Farwell, commented that “this is an exciting time for Bucks with
the development of our main campus in High Wycombe, the
introduction of a new academic structure and the production of a
new Strategic Plan. I am keen that disabled students
and employees reap the benefits which these changes will bring
and I see our Disability Equality Scheme (DES) as an
opportunity both to involve them more actively in these
developments and ensure that their requirements are in the
forefront of our thinking.”
