staff from different settings with a shared interest in adult
safeguarding.

Conference aim
The conference will bring
together practitioners, academics, service users and carers with
experience and expertise in aspects of adult safeguarding, to
explore how creative practice, research, legislative changes and
preventative initiatives can support adults who are vulnerable to
risk of harm, abuse and exploitation.
Key note speakers will address important elements of
safeguarding adults, considering recent adult social care
legislation, the impact on practice, the value of good partnership
working and the importance of empowering vulnerable adults.
Conference agenda
Eight different workshops seminars will cover a diverse and
thought provoking range of topics, reflecting ways that individuals
can become at risk of harm, exploitation and abuse and
interventions to combat this:
