Becoming a Social Worker

Social work is about people. People we see every day and people we may never ordinarily come into contact with. Social workers work to form relationships with these people. They recognise their problems and assist them in trying to find ways to overcome any difficulties.

As a Social Worker, you’ll have a positive impact on the lives of others, as well as your own. You’ll find that two days are rarely the same, and every decision you make will affect the individual, their local community and their society’s well being.
