In its mission to
widen access and improve retention, the Marketing, Communications
& Recruitment Directorate brings together a range of services
from within the university and outside which support links
with businesses, the community and schools.
Progress South Central

Debby Holmes is the Liaison officer for
Progress South
Central and is based at High Wycombe campus within the
Schools and Colleges Liaison team. Progress South Central is the
Lifelong Learning Network for Berkshire, Buckinghamshire,
Oxfordshire and Surrey which supports and develops progression
opportunities for vocational learners into and through higher
education. Debby works with Bucks and its partner colleges to
identify a variety of new projects to fund, develop and
support.

Higher Education in Further Education
One in every nine students studying on a higher
education (HE) course does so in a further education (FE) college.
This growing 'HE in FE' sector gives its students advantages such
as a local study base, varied attendance patterns.
