New Year New Style GYM Challenge
To kick start your 2017 fitness journey we challenge you to try something new each week in the run up to Valentines Day. We have lots of options to choose from including trying a free group PT session, taking a class you haven't tried before, learning a new exercise or trying out a new piece of equipment. As always our friendly Fitness Team will be on hand to help, speak to them on your next visit to sign up. Those who manage to try 5 or more new things will be entered into a prize draw for GYM vouchers!
We are very excited to welcome a new class to our timetable this January; BollyBoom is a fun and energetic cardiovascular class with bouts of high intensity work set to Bollywood music. If this sounds like something you would like to try then visit or contact the Fitness Team to book your space. Classes will be held in Dance Studio 1 at 6:30pm each Wednesday evening with Malvi.
Refer a Friend in Feb!
Round up your prospective gym buddies! For every friend that you refer during the month of February you will receive a free personal training session or GYM voucher. Please note the referrer must be a member before they make the referral, for more information speak to the Fitness Team.
Green Week 13-19 Feb
In partnership with the Students Union we are running a few different activities throughout green week to raise awareness of energy usage and to reduce our personal usage as much as possible. Not only will lots of cardio machines become 'human powered' but a couple of our group exercise classes will get an energy saving makeover too. Why not try our fairy lit yoga or acapella group cycling. We will also be aiming to switch off as many lights as possible (without making you work out in the dark!)
